Compare Education Agents in Sydney: which agents offer amazing extra services?
I have taught thousands of international students in my English language teaching career. During this time, I have heard many students discuss their education agents and the services they did or didn’t provide them. Some students have had very positive experiences whilst others were simply given the basic help processing the visa and were then wished ‘good luck’ by their agent with no further assistance. So, the only way to know if your agent is providing you with a quality service is to compare education agents in Sydney.
More than the minimum
In my opinion, effective education agents go beyond the basics. They assist students both before and after their arrival in Australia, offering additional services such as helping to open a bank account, obtaining a TFN, acquiring a SIM card, writing a resume, helping to find accommodation, arranging airport pickup services, and organizing social events to connect with other international students.
To assist International Students in choosing a high quality education agent in Sydney, I’ve completed the following actions:
- Written this article, which compares education agents in Sydney and the additional services they provide.
- Compiled a list of education agents in Sydney, comparing their Google and Facebook ratings.
- Designed a chart detailing the services offered by each education agent in Sydney.
- Authored an informative article titled ‘7 suggestions on how to find the best Education Agent in Australia.‘
Compare my recommended Education Agents in Sydney
Determining the quality of an education agent can vary from person to person. For that reason I’ve outlined a set of criteria that, in my view, every reputable education agent should meet. I firmly believe that students should choose an education agent with an office located in the city where they plan to study! Not just in their home country.
What is the criteria for this list?
Therefore, to earn a spot on my list of the best education agents in Sydney, the agent must meet the following standards:
- Local office: The education agent must maintain a physical office in the city, ensuring convenient accessibility for students.
- Experience: Consultants should have a proven track record of operating in the city for several years, indicating a significant level of expertise.
- High Google and Facebook rating: The agency must uphold a Google rating exceeding 4.8. This signifies a strong reputation and positive feedback from students. Take a look at the Google and Facebook rating of your Education Agent.
- Extra services: They should offer supplementary services beyond the basics. Check out the extra services provided by your Sydney-based Education Agent.
- Study Options: The agent must present a range of study options across various educational institutions, including Language schools, Universities, TAFE, and Vocational Educational Training (VET) courses.
So, here is my list comparing education agents in Sydney who offer additional services:

But what stands out most for me is the assistance they provide in preparing students to find employment. They offer Job preparation sessions at their offices which include workshops, seminars and training. They also offer special prices and discounts for work certificates like the RSA and White Card which is fantastic.
Going even further with the assistance in finding a job, Go Study has an eBooks package which includes information on Working in Australia. KOKOS International Sydney
KOKOS International Sydney has a very respectable Google rating of 4.9 from students and others. I can understand why they are rated so highly as they were professional, polite and helpful when I spoke with them. They offer a wide range of additional services like good education agents do. The additional services they offer for free include: assistance with opening a Bank Account; obtaining a TFN, ABN; getting a SIM card for your mobile phone; writing a resume and offering a mail service if required when you first arrive. Additional paid services that they offer include an RSA course, airport pickup service (cost depends on where you live), help finding a job, finding accommodation (cost depends on style of accommodation).
Hello Australia – Sydney
Hello Australia has been in operation for over 13 years. They have a strong focus on people, as you would expect form an agency focused on Brazil and Latin America. They have a lot of varied social events that connect people together to help form friendships whilst in Australia. This is an important service they offer, particularly to students from Latin America.
The extra services provided to their students include: help with obtaining a TFN; writing a personalised Resume; and offering a mail service. But what makes Hello Australia stand out though are these three extra services. They have an airline department which takes care of all the details of the ticket to the destination country of your choice, offering great flight options and special promotions for students and companions. Hello Australia Sydney will also introduce you to their employment contacts which will hopefully lead to a job quicker as it is very expensive to live in Australia. We all have bills to pay and we need to work. Additionally, they have partnerships with companies specializing in Homestay and Student Residences so that our students can choose the type of accommodation according to their preference. This is of course a paid service but very helpful.
Move & Study Education Agency
Move & Study has a 5.0 Google rating, which shows their dedication to providing excellent service. But what makes them stand out from the others? Simple, their personalized service. Emanuele, the Director, has been an Education Agent since 2015. He prides himself and his team on the quality of their service they provide to international students.
They focus on recruiting students from Spain, Italy, Portugal, and South America. Additionally, and in my opinion one of the main advantages of Move & Study, is they provide additional assistance to help international students settle into Australia. For example, they help students open bank accounts, obtain Tax File Numbers (TFNs), draft resumes, and even acquire SIM cards for their mobile phones.
